The Gatineau Triathlon will hold its 33rd edition on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the enchanting Lac Leamy Park. Winner of the National Event of the Year award from Triathlon Québec in 2022 and a Vivat eco-responsibility award in 2021, the Gatineau Triathlon once again promises an exceptional family-oriented event of the highest quality.
The complete and family-friendly race program is back, featuring Olympic, Sprint, and Super Sprint/Beginner triathlons, along with four races in the Québec Cup series (U13, U15, Junior, and Sprint Age Group draft-legal races) and a full range of races for children aged 6 to 15. We also offer a duathlon, an aquathlon, 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km running races, and a variety of team triathlons, including the Corporate Challenge.
The Gatineau Triathlon aims to give amateur and elite athletes the chance to push their limits in the sport of triathlon, support young triathletes in their development, and encourage sports tourism in the Outaouais region. As a non-profit event, all proceeds are donated to the Club Espoir Triathlon Gatineau, whose mission is to promote and develop triathlon among young people aged 7 to 17 in the Outaouais region.
