The Organizing Committee for the Gatineau Triathlon is a part of Club Espoir Triathlon Gatineau, a not-for-profit organization recognized by the city of Gatineau.​

Gatineau Triathlon Mission​

​

The Gatineau Triathlon’s mission is to promote and develop the sport of triathlon in the Outaouais region in the context of a fun event..​

 ​

Gatineau Triathlon Objectives

 

The Gatineau Triathlon Objectives are to :​

  • Encourage a healthy and active lifestyle through programs that invite the population to be physically active (swimming, cycling, running) or initiate them to the sport of triathlon;​

  • Offer amateur athletes an opportunity to excel in the sport of triathlon;​

  • Support young triathletes in their development;​

  • Provide financial support for the Club Espoir;​

  • Encourage sport tourism in the Outaouais region.​

SPONSORSHIP INVITATION ​

  • We invite you to sponsor the Gatineau Triathlon for the following reasons :​

  • It will be our 32nd edition.​

  • We welcome more than 1200 participants and more than 2400 spectators the day of the event.​

  • Our event is well organized; we count on the help of 150 volunteers.​

  • Gatineau Triathlon offers many races for all ages and fitness levels.​

  • 2023 Canadian Forces National Triathlon Championships: Olympic and Sprint distances.​

  • Triathlons pour les jeunes : 6 ans jusqu’à 17 ans.​

  • Championnat national de triathlon des Forces canadiennes 2024.​

  • Triathlons for adults: Olympic, Sprint and Try-a-tri.​

  • Youth Triathlons: from 6 to 17 years old.​

  • Running races: 1 km, 5 km and 10 km.​

  • 40 % of the participants come from the Gatineau-Ottawa area and 60% come from Quebec, Ontario and the rest of Canada.

  • All of the profits go to the Club Espoir Triathlon Gatineau to help train and support up and comer young triathletes from the Gatineau-Ottawa region.

  • Host of 4 Triathlon Quebec’s Quebec Cup races and a national Championships.

 

Our event takes place on the beautiful site of the Lake Leamy Park. The transition area and the finish line are next to the lake. All or our activities, the animation as well as the spectators are centralized in the same area for a dynamic day. This represents an important marketing opportunity for all of sponsors.​
