It is with great regret that we have made the decision to cancel the Gatineau Triathlon, which was scheduled for July 4, 2020. This decision is due to the exceptional circumstances related to COVID-19 and was made in accordance with the directives of the various levels of government regarding the gatherings. We had prepared an exceptional program, a more user-friendly race site and an enhanced atmosphere. This is only a postponement because all these improvements and more will be implemented next year. All registrants have now been reimbursed. Until then, keep active and we hope to see you healthy and in great shape in July 2021.
Register now and take advantage of the lowest prices of the season. We are preparing even more novelties for the 29th edition. A new layout of the site, more atmosphere, more show, but always a festive family atmosphere that has made our event famous over the years. See 'Registrations' under the 'Races' tab.
We are really proud to announce that the 28th edition of the Gatineau Triathlon held on July 6, 2019 has been named 'Provincial Event of the Year 2019' at the annual Triathlon Québec Gala on November 9th. Thank you to everyone who makes this beautiful annual event possible and to all the participants who, year after year, give a soul to this annual event. Don't miss the 29th edition on July 4th, we're still promising an event of the highest class.
It is now official, the 29th edition of the Gatineau Triathlon will take place on July 4, 2020 at the Parc du Lac Leamy. The full race schedule will be announced by Triathlon Quebec in November and registrations are expected to open in December. Follow us on Facebook so you don't miss anything.
The Gatineau Triathlon 2019 was quite a success! The sun was there to give an exceptional experience to the 1203 athletes who participated! We have set a record for registrations for this 28th edition! The Corporate Challenge once again awarded a total of $1,800 to three foundations in the region. A big thank you to our Honorary President Ms. Hélène Martel, our honorary athlete Mr. Bruce Ploughman and our Ambassador of the Corporate Challenge Mr. Bob Rioux. The Gatineau Triathlon would not have taken place without the support, presence and enthusiasm of more than 150 volunteers and the support of our many sponsors and partners including the City of Gatineau and Première Generale Gatineau. The Gatineau Triathlon Committee would like to say thank you for your support. A big thank you also from the Club Espoir Triathlon Gatineau which benefits from all the profits generated by triathlon. The funds raised support nearly 100 triathletes aged 7 to 17 in the region and thus enable the development of triathlon. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you and we hope to see you again next year at our 29th edition.
